Not too convinced with the clear tube method. Sometimes the level looks right and sometimes looks full. Same temperature.

Yes, done the tire calibration routine and completed but don’t know how the TC or ABS would be affected. I have the 1299 abs pump on but still...

I’ve got the black cover in excellent condition which you can have cheap. See if you can find the two red side parts and you’re sorted.
Just get some wet & dry on a flat surface and flatten it til smooth again. In Yorkshire we get taught these things from a very young age. :-)
