That’s nowt, Rich. Bat an eyelid and it’ll be sleeping safe and sound in your garage before you know it!:upyeah:
Mike painted my Xerox panels for Ducati uk. [ATTACH]
Got mine from Russ. Top bloke!
At least I left the frame alone! :p
Picked up the treated parts today and am more than happy how they came out. :-) New badges and CF heat shields and job’s a good un! Highly...
Bout time! :p
That’s it, Simon. And I think the JT carriers mimic the Renthal ones. Sure you’ll sort it as Jamie made it clear what to look out for. :upyeah:
No worries… mine’s a 959 with a 1299 swing arm conversion. I’ll see if I can dig up the part number I used.
It’s the carrier which is different as both versions / part numbers have a different offset. I think @JamieW had this problem on his V2? I bought...
Might be but part numbers are different.
That’s cheap. Are the supports the same for the 1199 and 1299? GLWS.
Two different part numbers for the 1199/1299 and the V2 & V4. IIRC, it’s the offset which changes.
Oh, and no steel or even steel particles as the anodising will react badly to it.
@Jez900ie, threads shouldn’t be affected by anodising. Use Kais up near Preston, they often take fork legs in for anodising. They’ll sort you....
I couldn’t find the 1299S bulbs anywhere online. Gave up in the end. But those defo aren’t the ones Ducati use in the 1299S
Forgot to mention, I took my rear sets to a machine shop to get them polished. What bits are they and what needs masking off?
Better then the std one but not as good as an alloy one
Pair of wheels in good condition. Rear comes with a brand new T43 lightweight alloy sprocket and the front comes complete with the brake discs....
Depends on what parts. If anodising, try colour anodising near Manchester. Word of warning. Cast alloy parts come out shit unless you get them...
Put a few chips aside and stuff them with paracetamol. Let them take the chips and just sit back and watch! :joy:
