according to the website the pinch pin is not available for the 848
So it sounds like the Almax 16mm chain will fit through an 848 frame, so my choice now is the 16mm through the frame or the 22mm through the rear...

Thanks yeah just looked myself and sadly no good for the 848 axle, it might go through the frame though but it would then be vulnerable to attack....
agree I wont carry a chain. if it dont fit under the seat cowl its not coming, that said a few times i have a back pack on with a camera in it....
I dont ever leave it when im other than for a quick pee in a bush, but carry a disk lock just incase :)
