I’d start by checking all the connections on the loom, make sure they are clean /dry. Have you got another key to try as well?
Took the Nsr out for ride before putting it to bed until Spring then got the 899 out. I was really enjoying myself until I came across an accident...
Sorted out the wobbly gear selector on the Nsr.
Fitted new map sensors to the 899, it was only the front cylinder sensor that failed but changed both. Funnily enough that was the same cylinder...
I’ve bought a few bikes off them, never had a problem and always easy to deal with.
