Their price was for a new shock as they don’t rate the TTX and 25mm cartridges for the forks. It did work very well on my v2 but very expensive.
Backed everything off on the front and took off the comp & rebound damping from the rear. Still rock solid. Spoke to Maxton and to get the bike to...
I’ve got Maxton on my doorstep and Kais up the road so I’ll be taking the bike to one of those. Thanks for helping.
I’ve had a play with the suspension this evening and taken some photos of the shock and how it’s been setup before I got the bike. If anyone with...
I’ve had a play with the suspension and backed everything off so I’ll see what it’s like tomorrow. Thanks for your advice.
I think, if I can't sell the bike I'll have the suspension looked at and hope for the best.
Cheers for your thoughts and recommendations. If the bike doesn't sell I will probably have the suspension looked at.
A bit of both if I'm honest. I never ached riding the V2 but I do find the suspension on the R very firm
I may have to try that as it is very uncomfortable and the UK roads around the NW certainly don't help
I've tried both the standard and comfort seat. I just can't understand why I find this bike so uncomfortable and different to the V2
My V2 had Maxton F&R so very similar
I had a V2 Panigale for a number of years and would comfortably ride for 250+ miles with ease and thoroughly enjoyed the ride. I subsequently...
Thanks. I do tend to look after my bikes extremely well. It’s not enough to just have a full service (Ducati or self) in my opinion.
So after close to a month of cleaning, polishing and repairing the bike is back together. Lots of seized fasteners, rear spindle, etc, but now...
Collected my PP today. I think it definitely looks better than the standard MS 1260/s. The suspension is firmer and is more confidence inspiring....
I’ve gone with my heart and put a deposit on a PP. Hoping to swap out the 1260s early October if my trip to Normandy is still on. I’ll follow up...
I use the 1260s mainly for two up rides out but do the occasional tours(off to Normandy on Sunday). I prefer the looks and bling of the PP but not...
So would you say I should keep hold of my 1260s and ignore the PP as the S is a better touring bike?
I’ve got a 1260s but I’m thinking of getting the 1260 PP. I just prefer the looks and the bits of bling more than my S. Has anyone gone from a...
Thanks. I did think I was over thinking it.
