    Now sorted. I removed the switch and cleaned the contacts. Cleaned all the moving parts & lubed them. Thanks again for your help. Mark.

    I have re-positioned the earth fly onto the ECU bolt and the EOBD light went out and the engine cranks. Thanks so much, I'm well impressed. Regards
