Could it be from a clutch hub tool?
It's a grub screw, normally used for locking something onto a shaft. Digging deep into my memory to work out where it may have come from on a 916.

I’ve never had a problem but always make sure the handle is nicely stable on the footrest before applying torque.
Do they do Ohlins?
For doing the hub nut, I rest the arm of the tool against the footrest. Either above or below it depending on whether undoing or doing up.
