Bead breaker. Tyre levers and rim protectors. Soap. Small compressor. Cups of tea and elbow grease. Plenty of swearing the first time.
Alright. I'll be the first to say it. Had you considering it yourself. It's really not that hard with the right bits. Saves loads in the long run....

Just fyi . I do all my servicing , (mts 1200s 55,000 mile)the service display always goes away after a while if you wait long enough.

Looks fine to me. As long as it's not tight, any pin distortion will stop them retracting, there is very little sideways force.
