Agree revs need to be up. I find clutching it from 1 to 2 very smooth, but at low load 2 to 3 less so!? Odd as would think it should be fine, but...
Agreed they are all different. My K1300S (and R previously) are butter smooth all up changes but think that's an inline 4 thing. Happy clutching 1...
