Spring out. 120mm air gap uses 520mm of oil. I settled for an air gap of 125mm - that uses 510ml of oil, so it's pretty close to the 511ml of oil...
I found this on K-Tech website (had to hack it a bit !). Looks like the air gap is 120mm....
