  • Appalling service from the ‘service department’ worst consumer experience I’ve ever had. Bike went in for service, mot and tyres some weeks later it was done. The bike then seized 2 miles down the road after collection, after they took it back weeks later I was told front brake had seized due to excess fluid in the cylinder, despite the fact it had just been serviced and had new tyres they denied responsibility, the bike seized on a dual carriageway I could have been killed. Weeks later they returned the bike repaired. Then I noticed the service light was on I complained was told I should have had the Desmo service, eventually after another complaint the bike was taken back for desmo service. First date they set for collection they didn’t turn up, while getting the bike from the garage it fell against a cabinet and broke a mirror. They eventually collected the bike a few days later, the kept it for weeks as they said they couldn’t get a mirror, I asked 3 times for a cost on alternative mirrors nothing came back. In short I would estimate that I’ve been without the bike for months this year, I complained to the MD who said he would find out what had happened he passed the complaint to the general manager who rang and said he would get back to me, not heard anything since, spent 1,100 on this experience it’s put me off Ducati I’m now considering switching to a Japanese bike now as these guys have a monopoly on main dealer servicing in my area.
