V4 …before And After (a Few Mods)

Discussion in 'Panigale' started by DRR117, Feb 18, 2022.

  1. So…. I bought a 2020 (Gen 2) V4 last November to enjoy this years track season on.

A few changes to the bike over the past few months…. But the most decisive, is the decision to go from Red to magnificent Yellow :grinning:

    After

Now I’m still waiting on a Storm performance track friendly exhaust system and on the hunt for a dry clutch conversion kit. Then…. All being well I’ll stop buying stuff :joy:

    upgrades…

    Mupo rear shock
Ohlins external forks with Mupo CSP30’s
    Mupo damper
    Brembo RC19 brake master
    BST Carbon wheels
    Brembo HPK discs with Z04’s
    Half Akrapovic titanium system
    Race seat
V4R tank with plastic tank cover
    Spider rearsets
    Spider brake lever
    Ducabike top yoke
    Carbon wings
    Carbon mudguards

  3. Actually looks really good in yellow. Noticed the gee tech paddock stand. Best stands I’ve ever owned

  4. Before I saw the picture, and you said you changed to yellow I was ready to cringe, but that looks fantastic. I bet you’ve spent a small fortune!

  5. Love that, some nice mods and looks great!

What have you done with the underseat exhaust??

  6. Bit disappointed in the photography. I expected a full magazine style spread like your usual standard :joy:.

That aside, love the yellow!! Those wheels look mega against the yellow too! Can't wait to see you fly past me on it next month.

  7. The bike does look great yellow. But wouldn't it have been easier to change the stand wheels to red?

  8. I don't like dark screens or clear clutch covers, so top work - think the yellow, silver & black work surprisingly well together

  12. Cheers all. I wasn’t sure about the yellow either but took a gamble on it and was pleased with the results :upyeah:

sold the underseat termi on ebay @PauloPani

totally agree @Psenior1 dark screens and clear wet clutch covers aren’t my cup of tea. They also went on ebay :joy:

hopefully see a few of you on track this year

  13. Is the clear clutch cover been repainted yellow?

    (teasing: I've read your comment)

  14. Magnesium paint and some filler :joy: still better than a clear cover

  15. Probably faster too!
