As above, in final stages of motor reassembly, just wondered how they are to deal with and how quick they deal with orders etc... Or should I just have 0.40mm turned off base of barrel and be done with it... Thanks, Daz.
Pretty sure Louigimoto in Bristol supply custom thickness gaskets? However when I did my 916 I had 0.2mm machined off the barrels so that I can use stock 1mm base gaskets for any future rebuilds. Recently, building the Monster I found that I needed slightly thicker for one cylinder and had 0.4 and 0.3mm base gaskets 'lying' around so I used one of each to get the squish spot-on.
