Ok does anyone know if a ECU off a 2009 Hypermotard will go straight on my 2010 model ... Ive said i will have this MIVV exhaust package from a breaker of fleabay for 500 notes this inc a MIVV no cat front section and a rear silencer also the number plate assembly and a ECU that has been re-flashed to suit. Now does the immobilizer run through the ECU and what are the chances of it working when plugged in ... I can get the MIVV full system for a little over 500 notes but then its 325+ vat at BSD to get it all set up .... owe yes and 238 for the induction kit from the US
Is it a Siemens ecu? I'm pretty sure the 2009 ecu are totally different. If it's been reflashed to suit the mivv it still won't be specific to your bike especially with the induction kit. I think it's either get a custom tune or a rapidbike evo (atleast when you change mods it'll change with them and you can take it to your next bike). Cjs will do you a generic reflash for about 200 but not as good as a custom tune.
