I had my 1098 recently serviced and today I noticed that the spring on the right caliper was not seated , basically its loose. :Wtf: Put the bike on stands and noticed that the front wheel does not spin freely, I get shy of one rotation. Is this ok even with with new pads? Have,nt changed pads on this bike yet so advice welcome How do I fit the spring correctly? If I can sort this out myself it will be a lot less hassle than sticking it on a trailer as its in track trim at the moment..
If the front wheel nut is over tightened then it can cause drag and stop the wheel from spinning freely. check the recommended settings (not sure what they are to hand) back it off them re-tighten... sometimes FT is not the best option...
