I'm assuming that the front indicators are led as per the original mirror ones and want to hook them up to my standard 996 bodies on my 996/1098 hybrid. Can anyone advise on connectors and bulb/ bulb holders for said conversion?
Interesting because my 848, which I thought was the same as the 1098, has standard LED front indicators in the mirrors.
The 1098 front indicators have the same small, white 2 wire connector. I thought the front were LED same as the 1200 Multistrada with a normal bulb for the rear. You didn't get LED rear indicators until the Panigale came along. Andy

The front indicators on my 1098R are definitely LED and having had the front fairing off recently, the wiring comes out of the mirror body where it fixes to the fairing and terminates in a small, white connector (very) roughly 15mm long by 10mm wide. Andy
What @Android853sp said LED front Bulbs rear Hoping you get none of the wierdness I had with mine, when I went to LED rear. It seems a bit of a lottery if you go all LED. I ended up with a fast flas with ignition on engine off, which settled to a normal flash rate with the engine running. Then (I kid you not) the rate went back to normal with the engine on or off after a while....................I have no clue, well wierd John
Not planning LED for the rear. Will I be able to change the front to bulb in the settings as per clock settings ala hypermotard?
