Yes, they are on the 1098R. However, if you were to, (for example) fit them to, say, an 848 evo, they would perhaps not only enhance the look of the bike but also offer a weight saving when compared to that bike's standard item.
Such a modification is generally considered appealing and hence such parts tend to be sought after within the bike owning community!
