Can anyone confirm the torque settings needed to bolt a new sprocket to a quick release carrier on a 1098s ? Scared to death of stripping the threads . My google-fu skills seem to have deserted me This is what I understand to be correct 14-16 ft-lbs (or about 19-21.7 Nm) to bolt the quick change sprocket to the carrier :Nailbiting:. And using the OEM torque setting for the stock full sprocket, 48 Nm to bolt the carrier to the hub. Cheers
Cheers bud Just on the subject of carriers and sprockets, I bought a carrier from ducatimondo and a CNC racing sprocket from design corse and the fitment and alignment were a mile out , didn't realise that carriers and sprockets weren't a universal fit :Banghead:
