10mm clutch pushrod spacer or longer post 2001 pushrod!

  1. Wondering if any of you can help me find either a 10mm clutch pushrod spacer, or even a longer pushrod from a post 2001 model bike (which I think is when they went to the longer pushrod?).

The slave cylinder seal has gone on my 1998 ST2, and I have a standard slave from my 749 lying around!

    Cheers!

  2. Could you chop a length out of a 10mm bolt? How long is the spacer?

  3. Just pop a 6mm ball bearing in there......

  4. Thanks for the replies fellas, do you know the dimensions of the spacer I need? I'll try to fab something from scrap!

  5. The dia of the push rod and 10mm long.

    brian.

  6. Push rod is 9.5mm diameter and you need 10mm spacer.
    HTH.

  7. Thank you gentlemen, I'll sort it!

    Cheers.

  8. Just a word to the wise, a ball bearing is more easily removed if you get it wrong........
