1100 Hyper Timing Belt Pulleys

  1. I am going changing the timing belts on my 2009 1100s. It has approx 12k miles. I'm wondering if it's recommended to change the tension pulleys at the sa.e time? I whipped the timing covers off and the tensioner bearings seem good, but I remember reading somewhere that the pulleys should be changed with the belts.

Also, are OEM recommended for belts (and pulleys if required)?

  2. The tensioner bearings are nothing special - they are just sealed bearings secured by a clip. If you're familiar with bearing identification, it'll be a lot cheaper to buy from a bearing supplier than from Ducati.
As for belts, Exact belts are the go-to for most people here and a much better price than OEM.
