I have two sets of timing belts that came with my brothers bike when he bought it. It was my intention to fit these belts to mine and my brothers bikes as they needed them but the bikes were sold and I have just come across these in a clearout. I was told that they were new and they are in the shop sleeves, they look new to me but I have nothing to compare them with. Offers ?
What's the shelf life on these? I don't have need for at least another 12 months at least, but it would be good to have a set spare.
Well I have had them around a year and was going to fit them this year but as mentioned both bikes have been sold. Forgot I had them !!
They both are sold now, thanks for the pm's, sold them to the first two that replied so sorry to those that asked after that, didn't want to muck anyone around.
I almost took one off you mate, but I don't really need them yet, and my garage is full of bloody spare parts from past bikes that I never got round to fitting. Glad you sold them though.
Loads after them, if I thought that I would ever get another belt driven bike again I would keep them but the 899 is my next goal !!
It's good to have goals. I've got my current goal, but no idea what could put a smile on my face as big as the 848 does?! 899 is a nice bike.
