  1. hi,
Does anyone know what effect on the bikes running, fueling exhaust back pressure removing the catalysts would have?
i'm contemplating removing them because they are after the Lambda sensors so shouldn't affect anything mixture related. But should give me a noisier beast!

    thanks in advance.

  2. Removing the cats will lower your back pressure and increase airflow. Would definitely recommend a fuelling module.

  3. Get it mapped direct in the ecu would be a better option.:upyeah:

  4. Provided you leave the lambda sensors in place and functioning your fuelling will be fine, no need whatsoever to re-map, same goes for changing the air filter , provided the lambdas are providing a signal to the ECU it will choose the correct maps to adjust for the extra flow by reading the amount of oxygen molecules in the exhaust gas, this only works for fuel injected bikes with closed loop systems, carbed bikes require re-jetting if you drastically alter the intake or exhaust.
