Thinking of selling my 848 for an 1198s. My 848 has 2 tangs coming off the frame as the steering stops, is the 1198 steering stop different? I can't see any steering stops on the 1198.
It's central on the front lower of the headstock, with bolt adjustment on the top of the bottom yoke...
If they aren’t there, its been dropped and broken them off IMO. Pretty sure (99.99%) frames all the same.
Well similar, mine looks like this (1098R) if you can't see the adjuster screws on the one your looking at something is odd.
No its a red one, it's not advertised anywhere just someone I know selling one Yeah thanks for the pics, thought they had maybe been cut off at first but can see they are totally different now
The only difference I have ever seen is the attachment of a damper fitting that isnt on early 848 but is on 848 evo
