I liked the base version best , did better lap times on it too . This is probably due to me not getting on at all with the abs , I don't like the feel of it , most people love it though .
Looks sweet dude. I haven't ridden an ABS bike, what does it feel like through the lever. I'm quite partial to the click you get in the clutch lever with some slipper clutches
Abs bike seems to have less feel at the lever to me , a more remote conection , hard to describe . It's probably due to the fact it has twice as much brake line and a box full of electronic wizardry attached . Then when it chimes in you can feel the pulsing again removing feel , like an intermittent warped disc . I know it's far safer for a rider of my level , I just can't get on with the feel of it .
Great looking bike, Bungle! it takes many laps to build that 'personal feel'.. once it's there, anything that upsets it is regarded as a step back. And takes away confidence.. the confidence you need to go to the edge... i haven't got that feel yet, so i' hope i'll get there , ABS included... those are Braketech Irons?
Is that the standard tank stripped or have you bought another??? if it's standard stripped how/who put the finish on it??? Bikes perfect imo my old man has done same as you, bought non abs base model and used the difference in money to buy "propper" aftermarket parts ie. Ttx,OZ's,ohlins damper,dp rearsets and so on. He's just had hos tank stripped and now needs to put a finish on it.
