Just done my Y piece exhaust bolts (pita) and on reassembling the system I've got some leaks from the joints held by the springs ? Should there be some compound or paste used ??
You can buy exhaust paste from any car parts shop for sealing exhaust joints on cars. Wouldn't be surprised if ducati make there own variant .
^^^^^as above, if you put sealant on it then the system will be a real b*gger to remove if (when) it comes off again. I use moly paste for assembly, not copper grease or you may as well weld the pipes together. Fitting this as we speak....
