Hello All. Got a new to me 1200 multistrada enduro 2018 with a funny engine noise. When I get to 50mph and above there's a noise as if its a bearing noise or a alloy clunking noise. Ducati workshop have done an exploration of the belts, tensioner, wheel bearings, compression test and said they could find nothing. One week later I've paid my bill got on the M6 to go hone and straight away the noise is bad because I was at 75mph. Slowed down but noise still bad, sounds like its a piston or alloy clunking noise but compression test was fine. Any ideas anybody, im at a loss now but the workshop is shut now for two days but I will have to take it back to them but they said its a good bike and can't find anything. Going to try and record it tomorrow and upload if its good enough.
