  1. ...possible?

THe Multi will be my only bike with road shift, so prevent confusion, I'd like to look at making it race shift. Is it posible?

    Thanks!

  2. Here's how some have achieved it

  3. Ooo not looked at doing this, as find it ok to run road on this and race on my track bike, but if it can easily be done I may do it. Have you just spun it round chris or did you need to alter the length of anything? You coudlnt do it with the old Multi

  4. Ar I can see now is that a weld half way down the changer?

  5. Not my bike. Just an image I found on another forum. From what I can see the linkage connection has been moved ahead of the pivot point. The original connection point can be seen on the end of the lever.

  6. That does look achievable. Thanks!

  7. I also wondered if a change of rearsets, lifting them up and back a little, would mean a direct lever could be added but think you have to go quite far back

  8. or you could just leave it in second gear permanently, as its just a commute bike with a 1200 engine and loads of torque! then it's academic.....:upyeah:

  9. Hey Chamb I think j may have a set of your old dunlop cast offs...if so wow what a grippy tyre! Love the 65 profile :upyeah:

    Apologies for the drift...

  10. The picture from chrisw seems like a nice solution. Either weld a nut further down the original lever, or, drill a hole, fit a steel thread insert and hope you don't drop the bike that side. The latter would be my solution as i can't weld. lol

  11. Like the idea of drilling a hole, I can manage that too!
