Just bought a 2019 Multistrada 1260S bike, only 2000 miles on it and still under warrenty. First ride today, all good but did notice when riding slowly (5 mph) in McDonald's car park or just rolling up to traffic lights when I applied the brakes gently a squeaking or dry rubbing noise come from the front end. I thought it was the brakes rubbing. However when I got home, I backed the bike onto the garage and without touching the brakes the noise came back as I rolled it along. Then with the bike on the side stand (LHS of the bike) if I pushed up and down on the right handle bar, the forks compress and release a little and the noise was there again. I filmed it on my phone. I'll contact dealer Monday, but does anyone have any ideas what this might be ? Thanks
They do seem to have a bit of a repetitive issue with front discs/pads slightly rubbing, especially noticeable when rolling the bike forward or backward, under very light load. There's no problem on mine with warped discs, but agreed it can be a little annoying all the same. Definitely never had any noises and the like from the suspension......yet!
