Hello All Somehow I ended up with 1199 termi end cans for a 1299. Apparently the Y piece from a 959 will fit but I’m struggling to find someone to confirm. the cans are boxed and brand new and I can send back to the seller. Although it’s a pain. has anyone got a link to the correct part? Or a custom builder for one? thanks
Sorry fit the late response. The 899 and 1199 have a 3 screw attachment for the Y piece where thr two pipe meet. The 959 and 1299 use a clamp system. From what I recall, the 959 and 1299 use a larger diameter exhaust pipe, so, if you keep the 1199 cans you'll likely need the entire exhaust pipe from a 1299 or 959. Hope that helps.
Follow up post - the manifold from the 1199 i a direct fit for the 1299, has a slightly smaller diameter, but its enabled me to have the 1199 Termi's bolted straight on. About a £1200 saving in total over buying the equivalent 1299 Termi's. So my mistake of accepting the wrong cans, turned out all okay in the end.
