Looking for a steel or aluminium tank for a 1299. This is going to be resprayed so looking for an inexpensive one, potentially with a little light damage.......
Just for info, the 959 and 1299 tanks are different. They mount very differently at the rear. Potentially the 1199 is the same as the 1299, but I haven’t seen an 1199 tank.
Yep as above. The 899/959 are steel the 1199/1299 tanks are aluminium. Although physically the same shape the mounting point at the seat end is different due to the 899/959 having the heavier, different shaped subframe than the 1199/1299. So either an 1199 or 1299 tank would be suitable.
