1299 Up Shift Pop

Isn't that 'pop' you're asking for just unburnt fuel from a richer map? pretty sure it is isn't it

If so is yours running the akrapovic map? Also are you keeping the throttle open fully when changing or rolling off a bit (less fuel)?

hmm, mine 'popped' even without the up map installation.. have you the dB kills in, as that makes it a little less 'loud'

other than that, I don't want to ask, have you got the QS turned on in the settings?

 

dB killers are the inserts that you can remove from the end pipes

 

Definition of 1st world problems

 

Mine pops randomly but when I hammer it and it's hot it pops on most changes in the top end of the rev range on the standard pipe.

No idea how loud it is off the bike but you can hear it on the bike pretty well

 

I have Akras on my 12. Best way to pop I’ve found is clutch in, few revs then clutch out.
Get it right and it flames

Common misconception.

If it's popping it's not running rich it's running weak.

Weak mixtures run hotter and unburnt fuel in the exhaust auto ignites.

 

1299S with full Ti Akra - I can get it to pop on demand. Especially when using clutch. Just take a 'slower' change. It does it best going into 4th though.

 

FYI despite the clocks going blank you can still get data from the bike

 

yeah I know but the bike crashes by default at 202mph
