My steering lock operates normally, except there is no message on the dash when the bars are fully L or R. This has confused me because of how my 2012 Multi operated the steering lock. Can someone confirm the operation on the skyhook model - should there be a "waiting for lock" message ? Thanks in advance Mike
Thanks for the reply`s, I get a "hold to lock" message when I operate the switch, but nothing before that. i.e nothing to indicate the bars are in the right position, nothing to indicate - now press the button. Can we clarify any message before operating the red button?
don't use it often, but think its says 'locked' just after you hear the pin go in. Nothing on unlock.
No, no message other than hold to lock once you put the handlebars left or right and hold the red button down.
