1200 150 High/150 Low

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by nigeleeezzzz, Nov 13, 2018.

  1. On the 2013 Multistrada settings, Sports is 150 High and Touring is 150 Low.
Whats this? Is it to do with throttle response?

  2. Simple answer is yes although the mapping across the rev band is different. Andy

  3. Cheers Andy.

  4. Yep max power but lags more wit softer throttle delivery.

  5. was LOW not 100 HP?

  6. somewhere on the motorcycle info pages there was an information doc from Ducati.
    It essentially showed that
150 high was 100% throttle at about 70% rotation (i.e. a quick action throttle).
150 high was 100% throttle at 100% rotation
    Both used the same map.

100 high/low was the equivalent of 70% throttle at 100% rotation (can't remember which).
This used a different map though.

It may well have been changed in subsequent updates (especially with the twin-spark engines), but that is how it was described for the original engines.

  8. There is certainly a difference between the 2 on my 2015 DS bike. Mine stays in touring a lot of the time but the Sport 150 high is cracking fun when i'm in the mood.
I have altered the Enduro mode to be the same as my Touring settings but with Pillion & luggage values. Much easier to swap between solo and 2 up now.

  9. I ride mine everywhere in sport, even fully loaded for touring. I paid for those HP's and want use them all

  10. convenient idea, but don't you loose the ABS in enduro?

  11. You can customise it. My Enduro mode was a track mode on mine

  12. I have mine in full power for touring but with the abs/ dwc set for touring so its not as aggressive as sport with which i have left setting lower.

  13. Bradders has already answere but no. Both the abs & traction control are configurable in every mode.
I dont intend to go off road so its a spare mode as far as i am concerned and i have found a good use for it.
