1972 Porsche 911s Targa: Preserved, Not Pristine

  3. A builder I worked with bought a 911 new, he carried cement and building tools in it from day one for a few years and when he bought an old quary he let his two sons drive it up and down the quary until it was wrecked.

  4. Theres a similar age 911 Jap import on ebay, currently £15, 300 and not reached reserve, so if you fancy it...

    A mate had a similar black one in Colorado I drove a few times. It was cool -there were very few old Porsches knocking around Breck then-, but wasn't quick and there was no real wow factor when driving it for me.

  6. Absolutely. Its way more fun to drive an old TR6 imo but I like having the top down.
