Fellow members, Your help and knowledge is required as im trying to locate a connecting cable for my Wolf Garten hedge trimmer which was purchased on the continent and therefore has a 2 pin connection and i need to use it here in the UK. I have seen the cables for sale but at a whopping £25.00 i think thats a bit steep. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Pictures attached of the trimmer itself and the replacement cable. can't you simply cut the EU plug off and fit a UK version? Whatever you do, use it with a RCD when you cut the hedge.
The existing cable is not long enough, its exactly as you see it in the picture, just about 300mm sticking out of the back of the machine with a two pin plug.
Replace it with one of these Plug And Socket Cable Connector 2 Pin Suitable For Flymo | eBay Connect extension cable with UK plug to other end.
