I've moved the gas up out of the way to install a high performance air filter and am having trouble setting the tank which is leading to other issues. Theres a good deal of wiring/plastics in the pit where the back of the tank sits. Any suggestions on seating techniques? I'm getting tired of cussing at the damn thing.
I'd guess the new filter is stopping the tank fitting correctly. As you sure the new filter is the same size as the original. If that is all you have changed it must be what is stopping the tank fitting correctly unless you need to apply a bit more force. Before you go forcing anything & possibly breaking something I get the two filters side by side for a comparison.
