For Sale 2005 Ducati 999 Mono In Red

  1. For sale my 2005 999 Mono in Red. It is a genuine 2005 model not a older one with box swing-arm. It is also a genuine Mono as registered on V5 and in service book.
    Bike runs well and if in very good condition. It is a 13y old bike so not mint but very good.
    As I type bike has 16300 miles on clock.
    Licence plate check may show date of 1st registration 05.2013 and 1 previous owner. On actual v5 date of first registration is 03.2005 while 1st registration in uk is 05.2013. Bike was sold in IOM then 1st owner sold it to UK. As it is IOM it is not classed as import by DVLA so no insurance issues. DVLA just changes plate and puts 1st owner in UK as 1st owner on their PC.
    Actual previous owner count as far as I can see is 1xIOM, 1xUK and now me.

    Below extras are fitted which together sum up to few pennies:
    - White number board on tail
    - 57mm full Ducati termi system, DP ECU, DP filters and PC3
    - Keyless fuel filler cup
    - Hid front headlight mod
    - Li-ion battery
    - 1098 forks, spindle and nut - Original forks sold. No mechanical issue but outer tube looked tired.
    - 1098 carbon mudguard
    - Carbon rear mudguard
    - Carbon heat shield to match 57mm termi
    - Radial calipers
    - Rage cycles tail tidy
    - DP mirrors
    - Sargent comfort seat
    - Carbon mirror supports
    - Silver reservoir covers
    - Silver half open clutch cover
    - Red frame plugs
    - Extra carbon exhaust cover

    Service details.
    Well it's mixed. Last big service was at Moto Rapido in 2016. In 2017 when I bought it oil change (small service) was done at dealer I got it from. They for sure changed oil filter. I have done oil, plugs, cleaned air filters in may and checked belt tension/rollers in May. There are some stamps in service book, some service receipts, plenty of MOT receipts and some service receipts missing (or not done). MOT is till May 2019.

    Few bad bits:
    Bike is in need of big service now that I have not done as bike only covered 4k miles since 2016 service. It is reflected in price.
    Rear tyre needs changing.

    I have below:
    - I have the v5, all manuals, both black keys, red key, code card and manual.
    - Below list of stock/extra parts included with bike:
    seat, mirror supports, stock headers but no stock end can, carbon DP licence plate holder and stock rear light (do not have stock rear light loom as used this for new light to keep it plug and play. That can be sourced on eBay).

    MOT history as shown when doing licence plate check:
    14630 - 5th UK
    13455 - 4th UK
    11835 - 3rd UK (shows as 19047 but that was KM as per dealer)
    11381 - 2nd UK (shows as 18316 but that was KM as per dealer)
    10876 - 1st UK

    I was not bothered as bike looked clean when I got it and when KM changed to Miles then history looks believable.

    I always loved 999 and still do but I just need to admit to it I always buy a sports bike and use it for 6-8 months then that is it. Did that to 749, 996 and now 999.
    It is a drain on resources I can not justify so want to sell it and buy a 999r next year if I can as a house ornament :)
