Looking at getting another 749 from a local dealer, but want to see if I can get a few more bob privately. 2009 cbr1000rr 22k on the clock Recent head bearings Black triple clamps Fairly new super corsa v2s Corsa corta Ls2 rearsets Hel front lines Newish galfer discs New pads Ti brake hardware Stainless bolts everywhere else. bad bits Cat n Taylormade exhaust Chinese fairings Unknown if big service at 16k was done( fluids, filters and seals done while I’ve had it) looking for 3600 possibly swap for a older duke 3300 without corsa corta and rearsets(stock ones fitted back on) cheers
I know Honda’s pretty well. I can honestly say I’ve not known one of these ever actually need the valves doing at 16k before.
Thanks for the interest guys, it was originally going to be a trackbike, but I had to be realistic as I doubt I will be on track anytime soon. Bike has now gone and the 749 is here. This seems like the better investment at the moment.
