Bit of a hard one to describe so bear with me. The adjustable screen mount on my 2010 1200 multi has a central pin or slider with two hand bolts on either side which require loosening to move the screen. The central slider seems to have some play in it and I get an irritating rattle at certain rpm's or on certain road surfaces. Short of wedging a piece of rubber tube under the front of the screen to damp out the vibration is there any other fix ?
You can get roofing washers that have a layer of rubber to cover the movement & expansion of plastic sheeting given the different seasons. Just an idea' ..but yeah I'd find a peice of malleable rubber & wedge it between the things to reduce or remove the annoyance.
