New to Ducati Multistrada 1200S. I just noticed that the sidestand does not "spring" in to the down position. It needs to be pushed a lot forward before it locks to the down position and I seem to run out of leg stretch :smiley:. Also it seems that the springs are too weak Is this normal ?
Mine does that too. However, this is one of the places that collects grime and mud. So cleaning it and greasing it regularly does have a quite dramatic effect to the way it is extended/retracted. When it's clean it retracts with a spring action. If it's not, I need to retract it all the way up with my boot.
