Hi, I'm new to Ducati ownership and seeking help with my first problem! I have a 2013 Multi which has developed an intermittent fault where the gear position indicator displays 1st regardless of which actual gear the bike is in, sometimes the neutral light comes on as well and when it does this the bike surges and gives a real kick in the pants...... it went back to the dealer who couldn't find the fault but did find that a gear position sensor fault had been recorded in the ecu, this was cleared and all seemed ok until the ride home ,40 miles later when it started with the same problem. Its booked to go back to the dealer for a new sensor. I have seen that there seem to be plenty of issues with the bike but not seen this one mentioned before, its starting to suffer with the misting dash but this is very minor at the moment and un connected to the gear/fueling issue. has anyone suffered similar problems?
