Just heard that this years run from New Brighton to Clatterbridge Hospital. has been cancelled [again] It was cancelled before because of the lack of sponsorship, but then United Utilities helped out with some cash. But alas it wasn't enough so it has been called off permanently this year and also the meeting field in the Hospital is now a building site. Next year, the organisers are saying, that it will be better than ever. They have also put out a polite warning, asking riders not to turn up and run unofficially. This may jeopardise next years event if the police have to step in. Dave Hughes Liverpool
