For Sale 2014 899 Panigale

Discussion in 'Ducati Bikes For Sale' started by Arron1984, Nov 23, 2018.

  1. For sale unfortunately is my much loved 899 panigale, raising funds for a house so for now biking has to take a step back (Selling kidneys is frowned upon apparently)

Its a 2014 bike on a 14 plate, 3 former keepers and 9500 miles. it was services at 7500 by myself with geniune ducati oil filter/seals, Motul 300v
and the k&n filter taken out / recharged. Bike is cleaned after every ride but alas it has the odd nick on the nose cone due to flying debris.

the bike otherwise is extremely clean and gets looks from everyone, the bike was re-mapped with woolwich racing software from a specialist in Glasgow (Ian Murray motorcycles).Rear tyre is around 600 miles old
Both front and rear are michelin power RS.

I have both keys and the original servicing wallet and books (Original exhaust aswell).Bike has been tastefully modded (If i say so myself) No gaudy decals, no shopping lists just things to compliment an already stunning bike.
, if i could raise the funds another way it would be staying!

    Service History is

    25/4/14 - Pre delivery Inspection M&S Newcastle
    29/4/15 - 329 miles M&S Newcastle
    1/7/17 - 5185 miles Ducati Glasgow

  2. Updated listing with the service history, also willing to listen to offers as they cant be as bad as some of the dealer ones ive had....

  3. If anyone wants to put 8750 in my hand id listen, surely its got to be worth that?

  4. If you have all the original bits I'd be putting them all back on and taking what the dealer offers before selling the extras.

Sounds like a nice bike but that Service History may well be putting people off, no service for 27 months and then a 'home service'.

    Good luck with the sale.

  5. I think it’s a stunning bike and good luck with the sale. Personally I buy metal work over paper work any day.

  6. Yeah im stuck with the servicing at the moment i only bought the bike last year and as i always do i serviced it when it come out the garage for the summer.

Ive got the original exhaust but you cant have a ducati with out an exhaust!

I understand servicing is a big thing on bikes but i just dont trust dealers after a couple bad experiences with cars (not doing the work i paid for). The big 15k service will be getting done by a dealer if ive still got the bike then.

I genuinely thought it was well priced just looking at the fact bog standard ones (minus a couple thousand miles) are doing 8k. Happy to hang onto it as i love the thing although the blip box may go up for sale over the christmas,

    Cheers Gents

  7. I would like to hope 8.5 - 8.75 would be realistic as you approach spring.

I’m selling a similar bike and interest has deffinelty picked up in recent weeks but I’m not in a rush to sell.

  8. Sorry guys, but cant see why its much more than 7k in current climate. Maybe hold oil to spring and it may pick up a bit? As an indicator, my multi had 8k miles, 2015 plate, 17500 new and sold for 8800 to trade in and its for sale for 10500 now in a dealer.

Hope you get what you'd like :upyeah:

  9. -9k in 3 years!!! ?

  10. 7k? ive had dealers offer me 7400 book price 2 month ago (zero mods declared), so anyone selling a pani for that money unless its 5 mile away from its 15k service is clinically insane

  12. And this is a 4yr old one. TBF 899 seem to have held their money quire well, bearing in mind they were 13k new?

  13. yep. Killer.

If it was pcp it was probably about 9500
