So, the time has come to part with my 2014 Ducati Streetfighter 848 stealth. The bike was bought from Surrey Motorcycle Salvage as a cat N (new version of the Cat D cosmetic damage) in July and restored to her former glory to be used by my wife when she passed her test. However when she passed her test and rode the streetfighter she didn’t enjoy it and has decided she wants a Ducati 821 Monster as it’s less aggressive. the bike has a new front wheel, discs, forks, yokes and bar all checked by motoliner to ensure they were straight and true and I’ve done 1200 trouble free miles on the bike since July including some touring of the lakes. I love the bike but we plan to tour Italy next year and I don’t think the streetfighter will suit me for a 2 week tour of Europe. The bike has done 15980 miles has an MOT until April 2020. I found where the bike was maintained and they have provided me with some history (big service including belts done in April 2019) with it being a cat N I don’t have the official book or spare key sadly as I couldn’t trace the previous keeper (new V5 doesn’t show precious keeper anymore) the bike has 8 level Ducati traction control (DTC) and quickshifter as standard as this is one of the last 848 streetfighter produced.
