Well, I'm 200 miles in and my thoughts thus far, motor is epic, very tractable, incredibly smooth for a V-twin and makes a great noise. New switch gear, dash technology and cruise control all much much improved in my opinion. Seat not quite as comfy as 2014, but not exactly a razor blade either. Default suspension in touring too soft (have changed) and front end in sport lacks feel(have very slightly softened off for now). Headlights are stunning but the cornering lights I can take or leave. Bike is so so pretty for an adventure model and blows away that parts bin panzer from BMW (In looks at least). My 2014 is already a distant memory, and yet I loved that bike to bits, but in my opinion, the DVT is a huge step forward in terms of looks, refinement and build quality, the fit and finish of body parts etc is just better. So, loving it so far, just gonna start changing a few little bits. Will post a few pics once done.
I'll get on it, but I have not taken any yet, stripped off rear foot pegs, panniers and those daft mud guards round the wheel, have ordered a smaller number plate, Puig black screen and LED rear blinkers, will post once its done.
Images.....it happened  new thread below with a few pics. http://ducatiforum.co.uk/threads/2016-dvt-multi-inital-thoughts-update.45652/
