Would t go too far unles you lift them too, reduce ground clearance a lot

 

I might be selling a pair of Gilles adjustable ones soon, had them on my old bike but don't feel the need for them on the new bike at the moment.

Depends what you mean by "extended". The footpegs off a Multistrada Enduro fit other Multis too. They are extended in the sense of being longer, wider, and more comfortable but they are not lower.
