New to the modern Ducati so just seeing if it's the same as my gen4 BMW. Can you can change the brake fluid for race grade fluid manually, as in not having to take it to Ducati to cycle the abs pump. So just bleed out the std stuff and bleed through the new stuff. Can understand you might need to do the pump if you change the MC or calipers etc but I'm just doing a fluid and pad swap for the track. Thanks
Yes, just bleed it normally, just use more fluid than you think you might need as the brake circuit goes lever, back to ABS unit, forward to calipers. FYI, I don’t believe there is an option to cycle the ABS pump within DDS, ergo it’s not necessary.
Is everyone fully compressing calipre pistons during fluid flushes to enuse old fluid is expelled from the piston cylinders?
