Hi all, I've been stuffing around with my 749s suspension settings (track only bike)... I adjusted the steering angle from 24.5 to 23.5 and whilst the turn in was awesome I lost a lot of stability, the bike just didn't feel planted through corners and I even low sided (though that could've just been me trying too hard). Anyway all this is well documented elsewhere and it seems like I need to change the yokes to 27mm to get some 'trail' back. Anyone got any they don't need?
Hmmm... £525! Maybe I should just be happy with what I have... Problem is I rode a friends 848 challenge cup bike (James Folkard's old thing) and the turn in was amazing... Might just be easier to upgrade to an 848...?
you could get an awful lot of bits and pieces for the price difference between a 749s you own and a newer 848........
