Hi all, any one else had/are going to have this service soon ,got mine booked in aug 7th and been quoted £575/600 sounds about right just wanted to see if anyone else has an opinion. Had LOADS of issues with my bike but I still say when shes working shes awesome, but been not working proper more times than I can shake a stick at.:frown:.I dont want to start a slag off thread but I have had more than my share of problems,early 2010 bike. Anyone with anything to say???
A bit like a wife/girlfriend....high maintenance, but you gota luv em! Had the dreaded DES error 4 days after buying her!
Hi Desmo, where to begin? At the start had all the usuall surging/fueling woes got them sorted eventually have had a new radiator new cylinder head new rear shock and ecu new switch gear on both bars new steering lock new sidestand cutoff saftey cable exvl switch /wire thing twice rear brake upgrade new clutch master lots of cutting out stalling bad starting eventually traced to dodgy spark plugs and LOTS of other little thing that I can not remember at the moment. Great bike when it works well (not often) but after spending£16k not happy with my first and last Ducati
Not due a 30k service and have already had this years "annual" service in March, but approaching 15k miles and dash showing "Desmo-Service" warning. What element of the £575 is the "belts" part of the service, do you know? Mine is an early 2010 and I had the fuelling resolved with a software upgrade. Apart from that and now the rear shock needs replacing (thankfully under the extended warranty), I haven't suffered the other list of problems the early bikes seem to have suffered - probably just given mine the "kiss of death" now by saying that?!?!
