Just returned to the fold having bought a 996. I want to change the standard cans for a set of carbon Termignonis or Arrows. Not an issue if I can find some 45mm cans but 50mm items seem to keep coming up! With the link pipe only being suitable for 45mm pipes and the 45-50mm being difficult to find and expensive I was wondering about the feasibility of adapting the link pipe ends to suit 50mm ie. use a tube expander to increase or whether a short sleeve can be used on the 50mm end of the replacement cans to suit the standard 45mm pipe. Any advice welcome. I've not purchased cans yet so currently in the market if both advice and parts.
